Aelita + Jesse | Whidbey Island Beach Elopement | Private PNW Wedding

Leap Day may only come around every four years, but days more perfect than this past February 29th are far rarer (if not impossible) to come by. With Whidbey Island as their wedding destination, Jesse and Aelita traveled down from Canada to become husband and wife. Private, deeply meaningful and completely joy-filled, the two got ready at a darling water front home on West Beach, then said their vows waterside underneath an amazing backdrop of sapphire blue waters, and a watercolored sky. (Seriously, even Bob Ross would have been impressed at how dynamic those clouds were) It was just unbelievable how after a week of winter PNW rain, the skies opened up for the most amazing blue-bird day and illuminating sunset.

With a stunning bouquet by Forage incorporating cotton as a nod to their travels together in Spain when the fields were in bloom, a delicious Whidbey Pie , and a celebratory champagne toast on the beach, so many little details and moments came together to make it the most amazing day. Congratulations Jesse and Aelita!
